Designed by the inspiration of Tracy Chevalier, an American writer ("Girl with a pearl earring") and her book "the lady and the unicorn". Out of the loyalty to design in straight & clean lines, DN use processed Italian leather which simulates weaving, like "criss-cross", creating a harmony from the bag's body and the leather's pattern. The weaving is an ancient craft which was the preserve of women. Chevalier, in her book "the lady and the unicorn", weaved a plot which tells the story of six weaved carpets, considered to be the most magnificent creation of the middle ages.
