Israeli textile designer Adva Bruner graduated from the prestigious Shenkar College of Design, mastering in the art of knitting. For the last 6 years she had been designing and developing her unique fabrics used for her clothes and accessories brand – Duende. Adva’s designs are based on the idea of casual fashion with a twist. Her desire is to deliver affordable, high quality women clothing and accessories, creating very comfortable shapes and using soft fabrics that will feel almost like a part of the woman body.
In her collection you can find 3-in-1 felted scarves inspired by the Israeli desert and the ancient city of Petra in Jordan. Fully handmade by Adva, she knitted the off- white fabric from 100% Italian Merino wool, then felted it by hand, and knitted the ‘sandy’ beige and “rocky” charcoal fabrics from 100% cotton yarns. The result is a multi-purpose long scarf that can be worn in at least 3 ways.
Also in her multi-functional collection is a long sleeved knitted shrugs that can be worn as a scarf as well – a perfect winter snuggle.
